Job Readiness

We recognize that each client has a unique background, specific vocational goals, and an individualized journey toward achieving meaningful employment. Through the Job Readiness course offered by the Assessment and Training Center, students receive comprehensive training tailored to equip them with the tools, knowledge, and strategies necessary to achieve their own professional aspirations and navigate the job market effectively.

The course covers a wide range of essential skills, beginning with resume writing, where students learn to craft compelling resumes that highlight their strengths and experiences, as well as effective cover letters. Interviewing techniques are taught to help students confidently respond to questions, present themselves professionally, and build rapport with potential employers across various interview formats—whether phone, virtual, or in-person. Job market research skills are also emphasized, allowing students to identify employment opportunities that align with their interests and qualifications.

Whether students aim to secure traditional employment, pursue self-employment, or continue their education, the Job Readiness course offers structured guidance and hands-on resources to support each individual’s employment journey. With a curriculum designed to foster both confidence and competence, participants are empowered with the skills they need to work toward their employment goals and achieve success in the workforce.
